Police seeking assistance to identify robbery suspect

Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a male in connection with a robbery at a northside store.

On March 11, at approximately 5:40 p.m., an unknown male entered Canadian Tire along the 1200 block of 2A Avenue North and was confronted by a Loss Prevention Officer after being observed concealing merchandise in his pockets. The subject ran from the store and when the LPO attempted to arrest him, he was assaulted by the male.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 25-years-old,  5’7” to 5’8” tall with red hair with a scar or parting on the left side. He was wearing a camouflage face mask, black Carhart jacket, grey pants and black shoes.  

Surveillance images are included for release.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information that could assist in the investigation, is asked to call 403-328-4444 and reference file 24004366.
