Lethbridge Police have charged a 27-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery.
On August 16, 2018 at approximately 1:20 a.m. police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Gas King along the 2600 block of 16 Avenue South. The investigation determined that a masked male entered the store, brandished a knife and demanded cash. An undisclosed amount was provided and the suspect fled on foot. Police located the suspect a short distance away and he was arrested without incident. The money was also recovered and returned to the business.
Dakota Bruce Ray Oka, 27, of Cardston, is charged with robbery and disguised with intent. He is currently awaiting a Judicial Interim Release hearing.
