Lethbridge Police have charged four people following a short term investigation into drug activity at a south side home.
In April 2019 members of the Downtown Policing Unit received multiple tips about drug trafficking activity at a townhome along the 600 block of 8 Street South. Following further investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed on May 7. Upon entry police located five occupants inside. Police seized 34 doses of carfentanil, 14 pre-packed doses of methamphetamine and a small quantity of oxycodone. In addition, police recovered a firearm, pepper spray, machetes, a baton, more than $1,400 in cash and stolen credit cards.
Michael Jason Red Crow, 35, of Lethbridge, is charged with four counts of possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of the proceeds of crime, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. Red Crow was remanded in custody and is scheduled to make his first appearance in court today.
Daelyn Rael First Rider, 24, of Standoff, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of breach of probation. First Rider was remanded in custody and is scheduled to make her first appearance in court today.
Crystal Yellow Wings, 37, of Lethbridge, is charged with one count of possessing an identity document. Yellow Wings was released on a recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court June 27.
Katrina Molly Marie Brumwell, 23, of Lethbridge, is charged with obstructing a peace officer (providing a false name), identity fraud and three counts of possession of stolen credit cards. Brumwell was released on a recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court May 24.
One male was released without charges.
