Incident involving injured man found in park non-criminal

Lethbridge Regional Police continue to investigate after an injured man was found by a passerby in a north side park last week but evidence to date suggests the matter is non-criminal in nature.

On Oct. 28, 2015 at approximately 8:13 a.m. police responded to a report of an injured man in a park along the 200 block of Kodiak Boulevard. The 65-year-old man was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released.

Investigators have been able to piece together some of the man’s movements in the hours prior to him being found in the park and while he does not recall how he came to be injured, there is evidence to suggest his injuries may have been sustained as a result of an accidental fall.
