Lethbridge Regional Police continue to investigate an armed robbery Tuesday night at the TD Bank.
At approximately 5:55 p.m. a male entered the TD Bank along the 2000 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South, approached the tellers and demanded cash. An undisclosed amount was handed over and the male fled the scene. At the time of the armed robbery there were multiple customers and employees inside the bank, but no one was injured.
Following investigation by members of the Criminal Investigation Section, two persons of interest were identified and interviewed this morning. Both males have been ruled out as suspects and were released without charges. They are now considered witnesses.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, with a reddish/brown beard wearing sunglasses and all black clothing.
