Lethbridge man charged with murder

Lethbridge Regional Police have charged a 29-year-old man with second degree murder in connection with the death of a male whose body was found over the weekend in a north side home.

On September 19, 2015 at approximately 12:30 p.m. police responded to a home along the 500 block of 19 Street North after receiving a request to check on the welfare of an occupant. Officers subsequently located the body of 29-year-old Matthew James Flitton.

Through further investigation a 29-year-old man, who is an associate of the victim, was identified as a suspect and was arrested with the assistance of the Tactical Team at a south side residence Saturday night.

Randall William Enright, 29, is charged with one count of second degree murder. He is remanded in custody to appear in court September 22.

An autopsy to confirm the cause and manner of Flitton’s death has also been scheduled for September 22 at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary.
