Lethbridge Police have charged a 44-year-old man and recovered $50,000 worth of stolen property following the execution of a search warrant at a rural garage.
On April 30, 2019, following a short term investigation by members of the Priority Crime Unit, Lethbridge Police with assistance from the RCMP, executed a search warrant at a garage just outside the city limits and recovered a variety of stolen property including a 31’ travel trailer, a motorcycle, a flatbed utility trailer, a boat with a trailer, a generator, tires, a snow blower and a few tools and equipment. In addition, police also seized a small quantity of methamphetamine. One male was arrested without incident.
Shawn Davis Olsen, 44, of Lethbridge, is charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and possession of a controlled substance. He was remanded in custody to appear in court May 3.
