Lethbridge woman charged in poppy fund thefts

Lethbridge Regional Police have charged a 42 year old woman in relation to the theft of several Poppy Fund Charity boxes.

The Poppy Fund boxes were stolen on November 11 from two separate Tim Horton’s as well as IHOP Restaurant.

A female with blond hair and white sweater was caught on camera stealing the poppy boxes.

The distribution of the suspect photos resulted in several tips from the public which assisted in identifying the individual responsible for the theft.

KellyAnn Larson of Lethbridge has been charged with the thefts. She was released to appear in court December 16, 2015.

Police thank the public for their assistance.
