No evidence to suggest foul play in death of 20-year-old

The death of a 20-year-old man whose body was found in Kinsmen Park earlier this week has been determined to be non-criminal in nature.

On Oct. 19, 2015 at just after 8 a.m. police responded to a report of a deceased male after a passerby located a man’s body in Kinsmen Park along the 1000 block of 9 Avenue South. The deceased was subsequently identified as a 20-year-old Lethbridge man.

An autopsy was completed Oct. 21, 2015 in Calgary and while toxicology results are still pending, there is no evidence to suggest foul play.

As the matter is non-criminal no further information will be released.
