Police arrest male on outstanding warrants and add new drug charges

Lethbridge Police have charged a 43-year-old man with drug trafficking offences after he was found in possession of heroin and methamphetamine.

On November 3, 2018 a member of the Downtown Policing Unit was conducting a bike patrol along the 600 block of 8 Street South when he observed a male inside a parked vehicle. The officer recognized the male subject as having outstanding warrants and he was subsequently arrested without incident. During a search incidental to arrest, police recovered quantities of methamphetamine, heroin, cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia – scales, packaging supplies and cell phones. In addition, the male was also in possession of two high-end bikes that were determined to be stolen.

Cordelle Daniel Bad Arm, 43, of Lethbridge, is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property and possession of the proceeds of crime. Bad Arm was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 9.
