Police continue to investigate collision involving motorcycle

Lethbridge Regional Police continue to investigate a collision Monday afternoon that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to a 36-year old man riding a motorcycle.

On Aug. 25, 2014 at approximately 5:08 p.m. police responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of 6 Avenue South and 20 Street South. Investigation determined that a truck travelling northbound on 20 Street had stopped for a stop sign then attempted to turn westbound onto 6 Avenue South when it collided with a westbound motorcycle. As a result of the collision the motorcycle operator sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital. The 16-year-old male driver of the truck was not injured.


 The investigation is ongoing.
