Over the weekend Lethbridge Regional Police responded to multiple violent crimes, including two unrelated stabbings and several aggravated assaults.
Police continue to investigate after three people were stabbed at a local nightclub and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or have other information, to come forward.
On March 22, 2015 at 2:17 a.m. police responded to a report of a disturbance at Inferno along the 1000 block of 1 Avenue South. Investigation determined that a group of people had been involved in an altercation inside the club that resulted in three men being stabbed. A 30-year-old Brooks man sustained a serious cut to his wrist and was transported to Calgary for surgery; a 19-year-old Brooks man was stabbed in the chest and head and transported to Chinook Regional Hospital and a 28-year-old Lethbridge man sustained a cut to his face and was treated at the scene.
Investigation is ongoing to locate the subjects who fled the area prior to police arrival.

A 37-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a stabbing at a west side home.
On March 22, 2013 at approximately 7:30 a.m. police responded to a 911 call reporting a male had been stabbed by a female at a residence along the 800 block of Columbia Boulevard. Police located the male at a neighbouring home with stab wounds to his head, upper legs and back. He was transported to hospital for treatment of serious injuries, including a punctured lung. A 37-year-old woman was arrested without incident. The parties involved are known to one another.
Brandy Melane Callihoo, of Lethbridge is charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and three counts of breaching a recognizance. She is remanded in custody to appear in court March 24.
Police are investigating two incidents where people were pepper-sprayed.
On March 21, 2015 at approximately 5:17 p.m. police responded to a report that a 33-year-old male had been pepper-sprayed. The victim told police he was in the area of the 200 block of 3 Avenue South when he encountered two males and one of them pepper-sprayed him. Attempts to locate the subjects were unsuccessful. The subject who assaulted the victim is described as a Caucasian male who was wearing glasses and a hat.
On March 21, 2015 at approximately 11:25 p.m. police responded to a report that three people had been pepper-sprayed. A 70-year-old man, 31-year-old man and 43-year-old woman had been inside a vehicle parked along Grizzly Boulevard when they were approached by an unknown male and pepper sprayed. Investigation is ongoing.
There is no evidence to suggest any ongoing risk to the general public.
A 35-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault following an incident Sunday afternoon.
On March 22, 2015 at approximately 6:22 p.m. police responded to a report of an assault. Police attended the hospital and located a 35-year-old man with serious facial injuries, including a broken jaw. Investigation determined the victim had been at a residence earlier in the day when he was assaulted by a 35-year-old acquaintance. The subject was later located at a residence along the 1200 block of 4 Avenue South and arrested without incident.
Jay Cody Many Fingers, 35, of Lethbridge, is charged with aggravated assault and breach of a recognizance. He is remanded in custody and awaiting a judicial interim release hearing.
