Police investigating dozens of cases of mischief to vehicles and businesses

Members of the Lethbridge Regional Police Priority Crimes Unit are investigating a significant string of property damage after the windows of 57 vehicles and eight businesses were shot out between Jan. 31 and Feb. 13.

In all cases the damage is believed to have been caused by BB gun pellets. The incidents have occurred throughout the north and south sides of the city, with a concentration of occurrences along the Meadowlark Boulevard area off 13 Street North and the London Road area.

To date total damages are estimated at more than $17,000.

Investigation in the matter is ongoing.
