Police investigating incident where teen girl was approached by a male in a vehicle

Lethbridge Police are investigating after a teenaged girl was approached by an unknown male and invited to accompany him to lunch.

On June 16, 2019 at approximately 1 p.m. police responded to a report that a 14-year-old girl had been approached by an unknown male in a vehicle in front of Stan Siwik Pool. The male drove up to the girl and engaged her in conversation, asking multiple times if she wanted to go for lunch. The girl declined every invitation and when she advised her parents were on the way, the male left the area driving westbound along 15 Avenue North.

The suspect is descried as a black male, 30 to 40 years old, bald and wearing dark clothing. He was driving an older model black, Honda Civic.
