Police investigating robbery, seeking assistance to identify subject

Lethbridge Police are investigating an armed robbery and are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the man responsible.

On June 15, 2016 at approximately 9:54 p.m. police responded to an alarm at Centre Village Liquor along the 200 block of 12 Street North. The clerk reported that an unknown male entered the store, selected a bottle of liquor then approached the counter. He produced a weapon, demanded cash and threatened the employee. An undisclosed amount of cash was provided and the male fled from the store.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, late 40s to early 50s, approximately six-feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
