Police investigating robbery, seeking assistance to identify suspect

Lethbridge Police are investigating a robbery where an employee at a southside liquor store was sprayed with bear spray.

On March 25, 2017 at approximately 6:50 p.m. an unknown female entered Liquor Connection along the 1500 block of 9 Avenue South, selected a bottle of liquor from the shelf and walked to the checkout counter where she produced a can of bear spray and threatened the employee. She then sprayed the employee in the face and fled the store. The employee was transported to hospital by EMS and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Video surveillance images of the suspect are included for release.
