Police investigating series of vehicle mischiefs

Lethbridge Police are investigating a series of incidents over the weekend where vehicle windows were damaged after being shot with a pellet gun.

More than a dozen cases of vehicle mischief have been reported to date, with most of the incidents occurring during the early morning hours January 22.  Parked vehicles were damaged in the following areas: Uplands, Legacy Ridge, Fairmont, Downtown and Tudor Estates.

In one case, a grey car (no further description provided) was observed leaving the 800 block of 7 Street South immediately after the owner of the victim vehicle heard a loud popping sound and looked outside.

Investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone whose vehicle was damaged, but hasn’t yet reported it, to come forward. Reports can be made online at www.lethbridgepolice.ca/online-reporting or by calling 403-328-4444.
