Police investigating sexual assault

Lethbridge Police are investigating after a woman reported two unknown males sexually assaulted her in a north side alley.

On May 14, 2017 at approximately 12:30 a.m. a 28-year-old woman reported she was sexually assaulted by two unknown males. The victim told police she met the males outside of a store along the 200 block of 13 Street North and left the area with them. The trio walked northbound in the west alley of 13 Street North and upon reaching the 400 or 500 block the two males sexually assaulted the woman. The victim was able to escape and ran to a nearby business where she called police. She was transported to hospital a short time later and a search of the area was conducted but the males were not located.

Investigation is ongoing and the suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1: Aboriginal male, approximately 24-26 years old, about 6’0-6’2” with a skinny building. He was wearing a plain white hoody and jeans with a brown leather belt.

Suspect 2: Aboriginal male, 24-26 years old, about 5’9-5’10” tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a dark coloured hoody and jeans.
