Lethbridge Regional Police are investigating the third robbery this week following an incident late Wednesday night at a liquor store in Coaldale.
On Nov. 19, 2014 at approximately 10:52 p.m. police responded to a report of a robbery at Pit Stop Liquor, along the 1900 block of 18 Avenue in Coaldale. Investigation determined a lone male subject armed with a weapon entered the store and demanded cash. The clerk refused to provide any money and activated an audible alarm. The subject subsequently fled from the store. No one was injured.
The subject is described as male with a darker skin tone, approximately five-feet nine with a thin build and broad shoulders. He was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie, jeans and a camouflage balaclava.
