Police seeking assistance to identify suspect

Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an unknown male who broke into a home and was confronted by a male occupant.

A composite sketch of the subject is included for release.

On February 9, 2017 at approximately 4:45 a.m. an unknown male entered a home along the 200 block of Red Crow Boulevard, selected several items and was about to leave the house when he was confronted by a male occupant. A physical altercation ensued and the occupant chased the male out of the house and onto Red Crow Boulevard where the altercation continued. The suspect was able to escape and fled southbound through Sarcee Place West and into the park to the south. Attempts to locate him were unsuccessful.

The suspect is described as an Aboriginal male, approximately 21-year-old, 5’9” tall, 140 lbs., with a thin build. He was clean cut with short hair and dark clothing.
