Police seeking public assistance to identify owners of recovered jewelry

Lethbridge Regional Police are seeking the public’s help to identify the rightful owners of numerous pieces of recovered jewelry.

In July 2011 an anonymous person turned in two rings that had been found at the Lethbridge Courthouse. In the spring of 2011 police executed a search warrant at a southside home along Lakehill Crescent in connection with a drug investigation. Inside the home police recovered more than 40 pieces of jewelry including rings, necklaces, watches, bracelets and diamonds. Police believe the items in this case were previously stolen and traded for drugs.

Attempts to identify the owners of the jewelry have been unsuccessful to date.

A photo booklet of the recovered items is included for release.
