Police seeking public assistance to identify suspects in armed robbery

Lethbridge Police continue to investigate an armed robbery at a northside gas station and are seeking public assistance to identify the suspects.

On February 20, 2018 at approximately 2:34 a.m. police responded to Gas King along the 900 block of 5 Avenue North. Upon arrival officers located two injured employees – a 20-year-old man and 24-year-old man. Investigation determined that two unknown males, who were masked and armed with weapons, entered the store. One of the males demanded cash and subsequently assaulted both employees. An undisclosed amount of money was provided and the subjects fled the store. A search of the area was conducted but the subjects were not located. EMS transported the victims to hospital and both men were treated and released.

The first suspect is described as approximately 6’0 to 6’1” tall with an average build. He was wearing a white hoodie with the word “Crooks” across the chest and a white and black emblem on the back.

The second suspect is described as approximately 5’8” tall with an average build. He was wearing a black/grey sweater with a grey hood.

Surveillance images of the suspects are included for release.
