Lethbridge Police have arrested and charged three travelling criminals who came to southern Alberta with the sole purpose of committing fraud.

On June 18, 2019 police issued a media release seeking public assistance to identify a male in a vehicle who approached a 14-year-old girl near Stan Siwik Pool and invited her to lunch. Following the release, police received information and the subject was identified. The 32-year-old male was cooperative, attended the police station and admitted to having contact with the girl, but believed she was over 18.
