Lethbridge Police are investigating a report of two suspicious males who offered a 10-year-old girl a ride to school.
On May 6, 2019 at around 8:10 a.m. a 10-year-old girl was waiting for a school bus near 18 Street and 18 Avenue North. Two males in a vehicle parked along the curb and told the child they knew her father and were supposed to give her a ride to school. The girl did not recognize the males and no such plan had been communicated to her by her parents so she did not go with them. The subjects left the scene without incident.
Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify two unknown males who were brandishing knives during an argument downtown.
The incident occurred on May 2, 2019 at approximately 10:30 p.m. outside the Supervised Consumption Site. Witnesses reported two male subjects were engaged in a verbal altercation and were brandishing knives. The subjects fled prior to police arrival and no one was injured.
