Three people charged in connection with two stabbings

Police have charged three people in connection with two stabbings. 

On August 3, 2018 at approximately 3:10 p.m. police were called to the 300 block of 7 Street South after receiving a report that a male had been stabbed. The male was transported to Chinook Regional Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

At approximately 7:04 p.m. police were called to a second stabbing along the 600 block of 3 Avenue South where another male was transported to hospital and treated for his injuries.

The victims in both of these incidents were targeted and the victims and accused are known to each other.

Keith Leonard Long Time Squirrel, 31,
of Lethbridge, is charged with:
​​One count of aggravated assault
​​Two counts of assault with a weapon
​​One count of assault causing bodily harm
​​Two counts of possession of an offensive weapon dangerous to public

Nicholas Blaine Heavy Runner, 23, of Lethbridge, is charged with one count of assault.

Tia Ronel Bare Shin Bone, 29, of Lethbridge, is charged with one count of assault.

All three have been remanded and will appear in court in on Aug. 7.
