Triple homicide investigation progressing

Autopsies completed late last week have confirmed the victims of a triple homicide died of multiple stab wounds.

The bodies of Clarissa English, 24, Dakota English, 18 and Kyle Devine, 27, were located during the early morning hours April 28, 2015 inside a home along the 200 block of McGill Boulevard after officers responded to a report from a concerned neighbour to check on their welfare.

Currently no charges have been laid in connection with their deaths, but the investigation is progressing.

Police believe the deceased are the victims of a targeted incident – not a random crime – and there is no evidence to suggest any ongoing risk to neighbours or the general public.

No further information or investigative details will be released at this time as doing so could have a negative effect on the ongoing investigation and potentially impact future prosecution of the case.

Police understand the public has questions and LRPS is working to provide answers that will come in time, but it’s important for the community to understand the integrity of the investigation must take precedence over curiosity.

Our primary duty is to Clarissa and Dakota English, Kyle Devine and their families to make sure that the person(s) responsible for this horrific crime is brought to justice.

When police are in a position to provide further details, additional information will be released.
