Lethbridge Police have charged two men with multiple firearms offences after a search warrant was executed at a south side home earlier this week.
On February 13, 2018 the LPS Critical Incident Response Team executed a search warrant a home along the 2100 block of Palm Road South after receiving information the occupants were in possession of a firearm. Police recovered a 12-gauge shotgun and rounds of ammunition. Two males were taken into custody at the scene. One was subsequently charged and the other released without charges. A third male suspect was not located and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Brandon Michael Coster-Tarcon, 28, is charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm obtained by the commission of an offence, knowingly possessing an unauthorized firearm, possession of an offensive weapon, careless use/storage of a firearm. Coster-Tarcon was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 21.
Braydon Shane Fuson, 18, is charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, three counts of possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of a firearm obtained by crime, careless use of a firearm, knowingly possessing an unauthorized firearm, and possession of an offensive weapon.
