Two men facing drug charges following search of westside home

Members of the ALERT Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit-Lethbridge have charged two men with drug offences after seizing cocaine and cash from a westside home Tuesday afternoon.

 On March 4, 2013 at approximately 1:15 p.m. CFSEU, with assistance from the Lethbridge Regional Police Tactical Team, Patrols and Traffic Response Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence along the 200 block of Columbia Boulevard West. Police subsequently located two males inside and recovered approximately 85 grams of cocaine, 16 grams of marihuana, drug paraphernalia and nearly $4,500 in cash.

 The estimated street value of the drugs is approximately $8,600.

 Brandon Nathanial Brennan, 27, of Calgary, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime. He was remanded to appear in court today.

 Darcy WS Polhill, 30, of Lethbridge, is charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court April 11.
