Warrant issued for the arrest of a male charged in connection with a stabbing

Lethbridge Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 28-year-old man charged in connection with a stabbing.

On March 5, 2019 at approximately 8:30 p.m. police responded to a report of an assault at a residence in the Westside Trailer Court. Upon arrival police located a 29-year-old male suffering from multiple stab wounds. Police administered first aid prior to the arrival of EMS and the male was subsequently transported to hospital. Investigation determined the victim had been socializing at a home with a group of people when a verbal dispute escalated to a physical altercation. Following the stabbing, several members of the group fled the scene in a vehicle prior to police arrival. The parties involved are known to one another.

The victim remains in hospital in serious but stable condition.

Jarret Bruce Healy, 28, is charged with aggravated assault and two counts of breach of a recognizance. A photo is included for release.
