Lethbridge Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 22-year-old male after a firearm was pointed at staff members of a west side business.
On Oct. 29, 2019 at approximately 6:18 p.m. police responded to Shoppers Drug Mart along the 100 block of Columbia Boulevard West after reports that a male had entered the store, was unhappy with the service he received and after briefly leaving, returned and pointed a firearm at staff. No one was injured and the male fled prior to police arrival. Upon reviewing video surveillance the subject, who is known to police, was identified.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of David Guenther Krahn, 22, who is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, uttering threats, use of a firearm while committing an offence and pointing a firearm.
Police advise the public not to approach the subject. Anyone who observes Krahn or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at 403-328-4444.
