A 48-year-old woman previously wanted in connection with an arson last month has been arrested.
Kathy Jean Peterson, was arrested without incident late Tuesday night at a local business.
She appeared before a Justice of the Peace and released on a recognizance to appear in court June 20.

Lethbridge Regional Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 48-year-old woman charged with arson in connection with a suspicious house fire.
On May 23, 2014 at approximately 7 a.m. police responded to a report of a possible break and enter at a home along the 1200 block of 8 A Avenue South after the homeowner returned to the residence and noticed signs of forced entry. While police were enroute smoke began pouring from the home and the Lethbridge Fire Department was dispatched.
A total of 18 firefighters from three stations attended and extinguished the blaze in approximately 2.5 hours. Damage is estimated at $250,000. No one was inside the home at the time of the fire and no one was injured.
Investigation determined the fire was the result of arson. A female subject, known to the homeowner, was identified and following further investigation charged. The woman’s whereabouts are currently unknown and a warrant has been issued for her arrest.
Investigation by police and the fire department is ongoing. No further information will be released.
