Efforts to locate her have been unsuccessful and police are concerned for her well-being. A photo of Big Swallow is included for release. MEDIA RELEASE Lethbridge Police are investigating suspicious circumstances that occurred downtown between March 20 and March 21 and are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a vehicle and identify the associated subjects. Images of the involved blue sedan and unidentified subjects are included for release. For investigative reasons, police are not disclosing any further information or details in relation to this matter. UPDATE: The situation along the 1000 block of 12 Street South has been resolved. Officers remain on scene and the investigation is ongoing. MEDIA RELEASE Lethbridge Police have charged an 18-year-old male in connection with an incident where a 21-year-old male was stabbed. On March 24, at approximately 1 a.m. police responded to a motel along the 2200 block of 7 Avenue South after a report of an injured male in the lobby. Police located a 21-year-old male with stab injuries. He was transported to hospital by EMS with non-life-threatening injuries. An 18-year-old male was subsequently arrested without incident at the scene and a knife was recovered. Following further investigation it was determined the parties involved are known to one another and had been socializing with several other people in one of the rooms when a dispute occurred and resulted in the victim being stabbed. Robert Junior Rabbit, 18, of Lethbridge, is charged with aggravated assault and possession of an offensive weapon. Rabbit was remanded in custody and scheduled to appear in court today.

MEDIA RELEASE Lethbridge Police are asking witnesses or anyone who may have video of a hit and run collision Sunday afternoon where a woman and her dog were struck by a vehicle, to come forward. On March 24, at approximately 1:16 p.m., police responded to a report that a woman and her dog had been struck by a vehicle in the area of 20 Avenue and Palm Rd S and the dog had been killed. The 33-year-old reported her Yorkie Terrier had gotten away from her and both were struck on 20 Avenue by a dark coloured vehicle that failed to stop. The woman was knocked to the ground but did not sustain injuries and no medical treatment was required. Police canvassed the area for video surveillance and witnesses, but their efforts did not yield any results. Members of Victim/Witnesses Services responded and provided the victim with assistance making arrangements for her dog to be transported to a local pet crematorium. Anyone who was in the area of 20 Avenue and Palm Road South on Sunday, March 24 between 1 p.m. and 1:15 p.m., and may have witnessed the incident, or has home security video or dashcam footage, is asked to call 403-328-4444 and reference file 24005270. The suspect vehicle is described only as a dark coloured SUV or truck, possibly with tinted windows. No description of the driver could be provided.

MEDIA RELEASE Sierra Nataucappo, 13, and Jeffrey Gardner, 14, who were previously reported missing, have been located. Police thank the media and public for sharing the message. As RCMP have carriage of this matter, LPS will not be releasing any further information.

MEDIA RELEASE Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a male in connection with a robbery at a northside store. On March 11, at approximately 5:40 p.m., an unknown male entered Canadian Tire along the 1200 block of 2A Avenue North and was confronted by a Loss Prevention Officer after being observed concealing merchandise in his pockets. The subject ran from the store and when the LPO attempted to arrest him, he was assaulted by the male. The suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 25-years-old, 5’7” to 5’8” tall with red hair with a scar or parting on the left side. He was wearing a camouflage face mask, black Carhart jacket, grey pants and black shoes. Surveillance images are included for release. MEDIA RELEASE Lethbridge Police have charged a 21-year-old female and 41-year-old male in connection with an incident where a male was assaulted with a knife, held against his will and robbed. On March 14 at approximately 1:43 p.m., police responded to a report of an injured male. Investigation determined that earlier in the day the male had attended a residence along the 500 block of 24 Street South and entered a motorhome parked at the property. He was speaking with several people inside when a physical altercation occurred. The victim was beaten and tied up, preventing him from leaving. He sustained a knife wound to his face and was choked before being released approximately one hour later. The subjects also stole personal property belonging to the victim, including his bike, cell phone and bank card. The parties involved are known to one another and the incident was precipitated by a dispute over stolen property. Later in the day police located a male subject who was arrested without incident. During a search incidental to arrest, the male was found in possession of the victim’s bank card. On March 15, police located a female subject who was arrested without incident. Franklin Hugh Taylor Pantherbone, 41, of Lethbridge, is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful confinement, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and robbery. Kristen Ariel Healy, 21, of Lethbridge, is charged with robbery. Pantherbone and Healy are remanded in custody. Pantherbone is scheduled to next appear in court April 2 and Healy March 25.

Lethbridge Police have charged a 21-year-old male with aggravated assault in connection with an incident early Sunday morning where two people were stabbed outside a bar. On March 17, 2024 at approximately 1:52 a.m., police responded to a report that a male and female had been injured during an altercation between two groups in the Top Hat parking lot along the 1000 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South. Investigation determined a 21-year-old female and several friends had attended the club and were confronted in the parking lot by a 21-year-old male and multiple associates. The male subject, who was previously involved in a relationship with the female, proceeded to stab her. A 26-year-old male attempted to intervene to assist the female and was subsequently stabbed, then run over by a vehicle. The female victim attended Chinook Regional Hospital prior to police arrival and was admitted for treatment of significant injuries. EMS transported the male victim to CRH and he was later airlifted by STARS to a Calgary Hospital in critical condition. Both victims were stabbed multiple times and remain in hospital. Just before 2 a.m. police located a blue Dodge Ram truck reported to be associated with the incident and initiated a traffic stop a few blocks from the bar. The driver and five passengers were later released without charges. At approximately 11:07 a.m. members of the Blood Tribe Police Service located the 21-year-old male inside a gold Dodge Caravan on the Blood Reserve. He was arrested without incident and transported to Lethbridge. Both vehicles have been seized. The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone who witnessed this incident to call 403-328-4444 and reference file 24004782. A 21-year-old male, of Stand Off, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of assault with a weapon and one count each of obstructing a peace officer and possession of a dangerous weapon. He is currently in custody awaiting a Judicial Interim Release Hearing. As this matter involves domestic violence, the name of the offender is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
