Honour Guard
The Honour Guard is comprised of a dedicated group of Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) members who provide consistent and professional protocol demonstrations at community and high-profile functions, such as:
- Remembrance Day
- Investitures
- New recruit graduations
- Police and peace officer funerals and memorials
While the exact date of the formation of the LPS Honour Guard is unclear, there is evidence of its activity dating as far back as 1965. Regardless, the Honour Guard continues to exemplify professionalism, pride and respect, while representing the past, the present and the future.
