Lethbridge Police Cadets are participating in shooting training exercises at the Police Range over the next three days. 

The cadets will be training during the day on October 7 and October 8. On October 9, they will be conducting low-light/no-light shooting exercises until 11:00 p.m.

Those in the area can expect to hear shots being fired during these time. There is no risk to the public.

Lethbridge Police have charged a 16-year-old male with possession of a weapon following an incident that prompted lockdowns at four southside schools. 

The Lethbridge Police Service’s Economic Crimes Unit is partnering with the Cor Van Raay YMCA to host two free Fraud Prevention Information Sessions on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

Lethbridge Police have issued a ticked to the driver of a vehicle following a collision with a motorcycle resulting in serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The Lethbridge Police Service's Victim/Witness Services Unit (V/WSU) is recruiting compassionate community members to serve as Volunteer Crisis Support Workers, helping provide critical support to victims and witnesses of crime and tragedy.
