  • Youth Academy - April 7-9, 2026

    The Lethbridge Police Service Youth Academy is intended for youth 12- to 16- years of age, interested in learning more about policing as a career. 

    The academy is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on April 7, 8, and 9 at the Lethbridge Police Station (135 1 Avenue South, Lethbridge).

    The deadline to apply is March 20, 2026. To express your interest in attending, fill out the Registration Form.

  • APCAT - February 12, 2026

    The LPS Recruiting Unit is hosting a sitting for the Alberta Police Cognitive Ability Test (APCAT) on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

    The APCAT is available to potential candidates and should be successfully completed prior to applying with LPS.

    The LPS Recruiting Unit is hosting a sitting for the Alberta Police Cognitive Ability Test (APCAT) on Monday, February 23, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

  • CPO Info Session - February 24, 2026

    The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is excited to a host a special information session for applicants interested in applying for our Community Peace Officer positions - providing an opportunity to meet our team, ask questions and learn more about this valuable role.

    CPOs help further the LPS vision by enhancing community perceptions of safety and increasing our capacity to continue to respond efficiently and effectively to calls for service.

    The session will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Spots are limited.
