Commercial vehicle rollover
Road blocks remain in place and motorists are advised to continue to avoid the area, or expect delays and detours following a commercial vehicle collision earlier today at the intersection of Highway 3 and 43 Street South.
Around 11 a.m. police and fire responded to a report that a cattle liner had overturned. The vehicle contained a number of live cattle, which remained contained inside the trailer. One animal was injured and had to be euthanized. No other injuries were reported.
The livestock has been safely removed, but due to an equipment failure of the vehicle dispatched to remove the damaged cattle liner, clean-up of the scene has been delayed.
The investigation into the rollover collision is ongoing.
