Lethbridge Police Service conducting community survey
On behalf of the Lethbridge Police Service, PRA Inc. will begin conducting a random telephone survey starting July 2 to gather public feedback from residents across the community.
Community policing is rooted in strong partnerships, shared responsibility, problem-solving and responsive service. Maintaining an ongoing dialogue with the public is essential to understanding local priorities, addressing concerns and delivering policing services that reflect the needs of the community.
The 2026 Community Survey will measure overall police performance, levels of public satisfaction and perceptions of safety. It will also identify areas for improvement and help establish policing priorities moving forward. Findings will inform the development of LPS’s 2027 Annual Policing Plan.
Telephone interviews will be conducted over a two-week period. Residents who receive a call are encouraged to participate. Feedback collected through the survey is confidential, takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes to complete and plays a critical role in shaping LPS goals and service delivery.
Survey results will be shared publicly later this summer.
