LPS assisting Quebec authorities in shooting investigation

Lethbridge Police are assisting Quebec law enforcement in connection with the investigation into the June 22 shooting in Montreal.

As the Sûreté du Québec has jurisdiction over the criminal investigation, media inquiries should be directed to mediarequest@surete.qc.ca

The Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes is overseeing the officer-involved shooting investigation.

As previously indicated, LPS will not comment on the matter, nor provide any further information or updates.
