Operation Freeze is back
The Lethbridge Police Service has once again partnered with Circle K to recognize youth who are making a positive difference in our community.
Officers will be handing out complimentary Froster coupons to young people they see demonstrating kindness, leadership and safe, responsible behaviour. Positive actions include, weaing a bike helmet, helping others, volunteering, using crosswalks safely and keeping public spaces clean.
Operation Freeze was officially announced Friday in Calgary. Along with LPS, members of the Calgary Police Service and Olds RCMP have joined Circle K in a coordinated, southern Alberta campaign that highlights a shared commitment to youth engagement, crime prevention and community safety.
For more than 20 years, Operation Freeze has helped create positive connections between youth and police while celebrating the everyday actions that make our communities stronger and safer.
If you see our officers out and about this summer, they may be looking for the next deserving recipient!
