Police charge female in 2023 homicide

Lethbridge Police have charged a 36-year-old female with manslaughter in connection with the 2023 death of a 62-year-old male.

On September 12, 2023 police attended Chinook Regional Hospital in response to a 62-year-old male who was transported by EMS with severe head injuries. The male was subsequently airlifted to Calgary in life-threatening condition and succumbed to his injuries.

Investigation determined the male had previously been involved in a dispute with a female acquaintance that escalated to a physical confrontation resulting in the victim being struck in head.

Autopsy results, ruling the death a homicide, were provided to police in 2026.

Initial efforts to locate the female subject, who is known to lead a transient lifestyle, were unsuccessful and in July 2026, a warrant was issued for her arrest.

At the end of August 2026, the female was arrested in Calgary on an unrelated matter and the Lethbridge warrant was executed.

Jade Tiffany Ann Little, 36, of Calgary, is charged with one count of manslaughter. She remains in custody and is scheduled to make her next court appearance September 15.
