Police investigating fatal pedestrian collision

Lethbridge Police are investigating a pedestrian collision that claimed the life of a 35-year-old woman.

On June 12, at approximately 10:50 p.m., police responded to a report of a pedestrian collision along the 1400 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South. Investigation determined the pedestrian was walking southwest across Mayor Magrath Drive without the right of way when she was struck by a car. She was transported to hospital in critical condition and transferred via STARS to Calgary where she succumbed to her injuries. 

The investigation is ongoing.
