Police investigating injury collision; seeking witnesses and dash cam footage

Lethbridge Police are investigating an injury collision and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dash cam footage to come forward.

At 8:16 a.m. this morning police responded to a report of a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of 13 Street North and 40 Avenue North. Investigation determined a Chevrolet Silverado travelling southbound on 13 Street North collided with a Honda Civic that was eastbound on 40 Avenue North. Two occupants of the Civic – a 39-year-old male and 43-year-old female – were transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The 16-year-old driver of the Silverado attended the hospital on his own.

Investigation by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit is ongoing.
