Police investigating shooting, seeking information/witnesses

Lethbridge Police are investigating a shooting at a northside home and are asking anyone with information to come forward. 

On August 12, 2026, at approximately 6:45 a.m., police responded to a report of shots fired at a residence along the 1700 block of 6 Avenue North. No one was injured and no other homes targeted. Evidence suggests that a vehicle may have been involved in the shooting. 

Investigators have interviewed neighbours, numerous witnesses and obtained CCTV footage, but believe there may be additional individuals with information about the incident. 

Anyone with information about the shooting, or any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident, is asked to contact police at 403-328-4444 and reference file 26015858. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.p3tips.com or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers may pay cash rewards for information leading to an arrest.

The investigation is ongoing and no further details or information will be released at this time.
