Police investigating sudden death

Lethbridge Police are investigating a sudden death after the body of a 13-year-old male was found outside a south side business on Boxing Day.

On December 26 just after 2 p.m., police responded to a report of a body along the 1600 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South. The deceased was identified as a 13-year-old Lethbridge male.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the boy’s death and an autopsy has been scheduled for next week at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary.

The investigating is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
