Residents asked to remain cautious, cougar sighted in the coulees along Whoop Up Drive

At approximately 10:30 am, Lethbridge Police received a report of a cougar in the coulees along the southwest side of Whoop Up Drive.  

Fish and Wildlife have been contacted and efforts to locate the animal have been, as yet, unsuccessful. 

While there is no immediate danger to the public, residents are asked to remain cautious about the cougar’s possible presence in the area. If sighted, please call 403-328-4444.
