Victim identified in pedestrian collision
UPDATE: Lethbridge Police have identified the victim as a 68-year-old Lethbridge woman.

Lethbridge Police are investigating a pedestrian collision that left an unidentified woman with critical injuries and are seeking public assistance to help identify her.
On July 9 just before 6 p.m., police and EMS responded to a pedestrian collision along the 1500 block of Lakemount Boulevard South. Investigation determined the female was crossing westbound when she was struck by a southbound Toyota Corolla operated by a 17-year-old male. The victim, who had no identification, was transported to Chinook Regional Hospital and subsequently airlifted by STARS to Foothills Hospital in Calgary with life-threatening injuries.
The victim is described as a Caucasian female, approximately 70-years-old with a slim build and grey/silver hair pulled back in a long braid. She was wearing light tan capri pants and had a set of keys in her possession.
At this time there have been no missing person reports matching the victim’s description and police are asking anyone with information that could assist in identifying her to call 403-328-4444 and reference file 26013414.
The victim remains in hospital in critical condition and the investigation is ongoing.
No further information is available for release at this time.
