LPS 2026 Virtual Run
The Lethbridge Police Service Run is back!
While construction at the finish line has shifted us to a virtual format for 2026, our mission remains the same: supporting Special Olympics Alberta by creating opportunities for athletes to train, compete, and thrive!
This year there is a flat rate of $30 to register for your choice of the 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon Run. Or, if you're up for an even bigger challenge (and some serious bragging rights), you could sign up for the "Trifecta" and complete all three distances!
Every registration includes:
- An official “Under Construction” Run T-shirt (if registered by September 1!)
- A race bib
- A chance to enter for prize draws
- A Flexible, go-anywhere run experience
No time submissions are required and you can decide if you'd prefer to run solo, with friends or join a group led by our off-duty officers.
Please note that we cannot accommodate any refunds or deferrals, though bib transfers are permitted.

Wrap-Up Celebration
We'll be celebrating our accomplishments together!

Elk's Compound (55-79 Botteril Bottom Rd S, Lethbridge)
This family-friendly event includes:
- T-shirt & bib pick-up
- Random bib prize draws
- Charity pancake breakfast (just $5, courtesy of Firefighters Charities)
- Meet-and-greet with LPS officers, sponsors & Special Olympics athletes
