CompStat: Wanted Subject
Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a 35-year-old male who is wanted on an outstanding property crimes warrant.
Jonathan Lee Martens is wanted on a warrant for theft of a vehicle.
Anyone who has seen Martens or has information on his whereabouts, is asked to call police at 403-328-4444 and reference file 25002993.
Anonymous online tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.p3tips.com or by calling 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 cash for information leading to an arrest.
LPS uses CompStat, a data-driven crime reduction strategy where analytics are used to identify prolific offenders, high-crime areas and the most effective deployment of police resources.
Each month LPS identifies prolific and wanted offenders and officers are assigned to conduct and enforce release conditions, or locate and apprehend those with outstanding warrants. As part of these efforts, photos of wanted subjects are released to the public to seek assistance in locating them.
