Investigation into pedestrian collision ongoing
MEDIA RELEASE:
Lethbridge Police continue to investigate a pedestrian collision that resulted in life-threatening injuries.
On January 4 at approximately 5:27 p.m. police responded to a report of a pedestrian collision at the intersection of 2 A Avenue North and 10 Street North. Investigation determined a 39-year-old female was crossing 2 A Avenue North when she was struck by an eastbound Honda Civic. The victim was transported to a Calgary hospital with life-threatening injuries. She remains in hospital in stable, but critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing. There is no further information to release at this time.
