Lethbridge Police K9 calendar features paws for a cause
The Lethbridge Police 2026 K9 Calendar has officially been unleashed and is now available for purchase online and at the police station.
Proceeds from this ‘fur-tastic’ charity calendar will benefit Ned’s Wish, a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to giving retired police and military service dogs the ‘ulti-mutt’ care throughout their golden years. From healthcare assistance to educational support, Ned’s Wish is truly the top dog in enhancing the quality of life for four-legged retirees.
The 2026 calendar is a 13-month showcase of our serving and recently retired ‘paw-some’ police pups.
LPS currently has three working dogs – PSD Aron (German Shepard), PSD Brandon (Belgian Malinois) and PSD Macho (Belgian Malinois). In 2024, the Police Service bid farewell to three deserving retirees – Zap, Myke and Robby – all very good boys.
K9 teams work alongside our frontline officers, and are on ‘paw-trol’ to help keep our community safe one bite at a time.
2026 K9 calendars are $20 each and available for ‘paw-chase’ at the front counter of the police station during business hours Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cash, debit and credit card payments will be accepted.
Calendars can also be ordered online with options for police station pick-up or shipping straight to your doghouse. Visit https://lps-events-and-fundraisers.square.site/k9-calendar-fundraiser to order.
As the holiday season approaches, members of the K9 Unit will also be popping up in the community with special ‘Paw-Pup Shops.’ Stay tuned for more details and location announcements.

LPS thanks Photo Expressions Photography for the ‘paws-itively’ amazing photos.
